I have found lots of info on the Cummins. Just haven't been able to track the Smith's. My John S. Smith was in the Civil War and died Feb 21, 1863 at Camp Grover, La near Young's Point of typhoid fever and pneumonia he was married to my gg grandmother only a year before his death. He was in the 29 Missouri Infantry Co. I we just received pension papers today hoping it would tell us who his family was but no luck. Delores
