    3. I am FWD this to this site as My 3rd Grt Granfather, Anderson and Mary Byler White, is mentioned and he lived there in Sherman area in 1800's. and started a cem that flourishes today with Hall name. I am proud of the help of all who have kept this cem over the many yrs, 147 abt yrs. Those who added to the 2 acres Anderson donated and to bury our families in, took care of it, put his name with the monument and dedication some years back. God Bless all of you now today and in the future ,who care for all the many graves there and especialy all 167 plus of my ancestors burried there. None will ever have to be moved and this Cem will never have to go through what the below Cem is today. I also have Ancestors in Grundy Co Mo,Marion Twp, Lindly, Galt, Trenton etc. The Rooks descendants, who also will not have to go through what the below Cem is today. I also had a small hand in this saving from desert ways. Thanks to the City of Trenton and all who took up the stand . Another of my 3rd GRT Grparents also in Grundy, Joseph and Elizabeth ROOKS. ( no E mail for them). > > I am writing this on ref; to the Cemetery in Snohomish Co. Wa , that is haveing so much fight over. destrying it. Wanting the land to build a Senior Center on. What Gall to do this. > How would all of the persons wanting to take this land like to live to see the Cemetery that their ancestors are burried in destroyed or better stiil like to have someday their OWN REMAINS desecrated with bull dozers, and in firey brushpiles being burnt with their bones and of their family.????? Answer that , all you involved with destroying this Cem .! ! ! ! > How can anyone be so callous and uncareing as to take property donated for preserving those bodies of our own flesh and blood , donated for this purpose and then want to in advertly STEAL that , that was donated for a purpose as a Cemetery???? How about all you Seniors that go to a Senior Center there, will you be able to enjoy yourselves knowing that where you are sitting relaxing in a chair was where maybe a relative was burried?????? > > My Grt Grt Granfather, Anderson White in Grayson Co Tx donated land given him in the Peters Colony Land Grant that started the now named HALL CEMETERY near Sherman in Grayson Co Tx. There are many of my descendants there. Over 167 of them. > It makes no difference to me and my ancestors that a cem donated land has been able to be taken care of. IT IS STILL A CEMETERY. > Thieves they are that do this no mater where the cemetery is. > We want to preserve the resting places of our families same as you do when you have buried a loved one today. > STOP this fight. Go buy some other Land probably even more suitable than that which you are trying to desecrate for whatever purpose you are doing it for. I am sure those SENIORS who would be going to the center wouldn't like to see their burying places taken and plowed up and STOLEN from their own resting places. or know that thier descendants had a part in this or had to watch this desecration? > Go buy your own land and quit this fight. > This is for the Judges, and all involved in this sad plot. to take this land. > I hope that someday you will be sorry for all this fight and have some remorse for what you have done and are attempting to do to this Cemetery. > Once a Cemetery, Always a Cemetery. > Land isn't donated as a burying ground for others later to take it and destroy it or it wouldn't have been put there in the first place. > STOP< STOP and think. Do you want someone to move your bones and dig into them with bulldozers and get them mixed up with others or BURNT in a pile of rubble????? If those who buried their families there wanted them in a different place they wouldn't have been there or if they wanted their bodies burned up, they would have cremated them and not put them there. STOP NOW. Save all Cemeteries.
