Hello, I'm hoping that someone can provide information about my great-great grandmother's second marriage. Sarilda (Harless) Mantlo apparently remarried after the death of her husband, Dr. William W. Mantlo. He died in 1903. Sarilda Mantlo, widow, is found in the 1910 census in Medicine Township, Mercer Co., MO. By the 1920 census she is living in Marion Township, Grundy Co., MO and her name is Sarilda Mathews, marital status-widow. From this info I can tell that she married _________Mathews sometime between 1910 and 1920, probably in Grundy Co. I don't have a first name for Mr. Mathews, but know that he was dead before the 1920 census was taken. Sarilda died in 1921. Any info about this second marriage would be appreciated.
