Dear List, I was interested in the biography of Jesse Bain of Lincoln Twp. which appeared Jan. 22. I wonder if Jesse Bain had a son named Jesse Bain also. My great aunt Laura Murphy, b. June 1856 daughter of Robert Murphy (my gr. grandfather) and Mary Ann Blecker Finfrock Murphy of Lincoln Twp. Grundy County married a man by the name of Jesse Bain. They came to Texas in the early part of the 20th century. I have a copy of Mary Finfrock Murphy's will in which Laura Bain is mentioned as well as Laura's children.
