    2. By request Source: 1881 History of Grundy Co., Missouri Nathaniel Pettit, p. 700-01 NATHANIEL PETTIT Was born in Beaver county, Pennsylvania, June 29, 1829. His parents, George and Hannah Pettit, were also natives of Pennsylvania. In his early youth his parents removed to Coshocton county, Ohio, and there our subject was educated and grew to manhood. He was married in Ohio, in October, 1851, to Miss Hannah, daughter of Abram and Nancy Miller. Mrs. Pettit is a native of Ohio. The fruits of this marriage have been twelve children, nine of whom, five boys and four girls, are now living. Mr. Pettit owns a fine prairie farm of three hundred and twenty acres very handsomely improved.
