I am connected to the 2 SMITHSON girls who married 2 Trenary boys in Clinto Co Ohio in around mis 1850's. Their parents, William Smithson anf Milie Mildred Murrell mar 1812, were my3rd great granparents. Their dau, Mahala Smithson b ca 1814, mar William (Billie) ROOKS in 1837 in Randolph Co In.William d 14 Sep 1875 in Susanville, California. Then moved to Marion TWP in Grundy Co. Mo. William b 1817 was a son of Joseph b 1782,and Elizabeth b 1790,, ( 1 of 15 ch.). I am still looking for the death of Mahala in Grundy Co. when , as my grt granmother, Millie Maxine Rooks Brannan said, she died when she was 9 yrs old. That would have been in 1855/6 as Millie Maxine was born 11 Oct 1846 in Marion Twp in Grundy Co Mo. Don't know what cem she was burried in either. Also still looking for Mahala's 4 sons, Isaac, Wm Harrison, Smith ( Smithson), and Allen Rooks as to where they all went after mother died. Maybe someone can also help me with these as they are Mahala's children and were nephew's of the Emily and Jemima or Jeminiah Smithson. I am alos looking for the descendants of all these Smithson Ch.
