Have you done much research on Emily? So far she has been a dead end for me. Do you know anything about her parents or siblings that you'd be willing to share with me? I immediately noticed your last name so figure you might. Emily was my gg grandmother. I already know all the information you gave me in your message. What I'm trying to find is if there is an online source where I can get an obituary for her. By the time she died I'm sure there had to be newspapers in Grundy County. Again thanks for answering my query and I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Barbara WYATT HEARD

    2. I'm looking for information on Thomas Mathews and Nancy Cantwell Mathews. They had a child in 1893 named Myrtle B. Mathews. Family lore says she was in a girl's school in the area and was taken out of the school by a man named Harry DeVance, who married her. If any of this rings any bells, please let me know.
