    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/oMB.2ACI/626 Message Board Post: Response to Roger and Lee Aydelott-- Yes, I show Hardon as a son of Greenberry Harris and wife Clara Weldon, but my information is sketchy and needs to be proved. Hardon married Malissa Byram. Children I have listed are: William (Willie) who married Rosa Sayer Lavena who married Ed Pond Edna who married Joe ? Mary Alice who married 2) Everett Gee Merlin who married Vera Perkins Hardon and Malissa lived in Bristo, Oklahoma, where they are buried. (Sorry, I don't know what cemetery.) As for Charles Stevens--I have only a Charlie Stephens, b. February 1879/80. I think he would be too young to be the Charles Stephens you mentioned. I'll give you the brief information anyway. George W. Stephens and Elizabeth Indiana "Annie" Warren(s), married 1878 in Livingston County, Missouri. Their children: Charlie, Lizzie (married Pete Buchanan), Ethel (married Joe Kirby), Earl (married Mamie Newton), Ed, and Calvin. (Calvin & Charlie may be the same person.) At least some of these children came to California. I met some of their descendants when they were living in Lodi, California, in the 1970s. If anyone out there has a Grundy/Livingston/Daviess County Missouri connection to Warren/Warrens/Warnes and/or Stephens/Stevens -- I would like to hear from you! I'm looking for Zachariah Warrens and wife Elizabeth--parents of my great grandfather Calvin Taylor Warrens/Warnes (descendants go by Warnes). Janet j.r.lamb@attbi.com

The Bethel Cemetery site, Grundy Co. MO has a group of Munns including Eliza Anna. It appears that Antone's parents were John Munn & Susan Nichols. 3. I notice on one of the recent postings that Harden Harris (son of Greenberry and Claressa Weldon Harris) m. Melissa Byram. I am willing to share what I have on these family lines. I am particularly interested in finding out more about Melissa Byram's parents. Her mother was Mary Alice Spears Hartman. She was born to Mary Alice and her 2nd husband, Lewis BYRAM. So far I have been unable to trace the ancestry of Lewis BYRAM. His youngest daughter was a sister to Melissa Byram Harris and my g-grandmother whose name was Alice Caroline Byram (m.Marcus Lafayette Criswell). I can be reached at rlaydelott@earthlink.net. 3. I notice a lot of activity on the board lately with respect to Hartman/Hobbs/Harris ancestry. I am looking for and willing to share what info I have if you will address me at rlaydelott@earthlink.net. Briefly my heritage follows the Mary Alice Spears (Speers) Hartman (m. Jacob Wm. Hartman 9-2-1841) and her subsequent marriage to Lewis Byram (12-1-1852) . My g-grandmother, Alice Caroline Byram (m. Marcus Lafayette Criswell 10-9-1881). Alice Caroline was the youngest of six children born to Mary Alice Hartman Byram and her second husband, Lewis Byram. Lewis enlisted as a Confederate soldier and died of wounds in Macon prison (taken prisoner at the battle of Shiloh). I have been unable to trace his ancestry and would be so eager to hear from any of you on the BYRAM line. I also notice by one of the recent postings that Harden Harris m. Melissa Byram. I have very little information on Harden Harris other than the names of their four children: Willie, Mary Alice, Edna, Marilyn. Melissa Byram was a sister to my g-grandmother, Alice Caroline Byram. Eager to hear from you all, Lela Aydelott Eugene, Oregon

Amanda Sarah, b. July 7, 1860, married John Jones. Hardon married Melissa Byram. Malissa Lee, b. July 6, 1866, married Frank Sneeden. According to my records, Greenberry was in the logging business with his brother Jesse Richmond. Jesse Richmond married Amanda (Mandy) Weldon, Clara Weldon's sister. Hope this helps. Janet

There were hardly any obits at all in the papers of that time. I went to familysearch.org, the Mormon sheet, and found that Ed Elkins, age 22, and Wesley Elkins, age 25, were enumerated in Franklin township in 1880, the same as Emily and Henry. The parent birthplaces were all the same and Emily would have only been 33 that year. There was probably a connection. Virginia seems a hard place to research, but you might find something there. I didn't check the marriage records for Grundy, but don't know what they list. I am stuck on the generation of my family that came here from Virginia and the family geneaologist is too. We think we are looking for brother's parents, but he can't find them in 40,000 names or war records.
