    2. Roger and Lee Aydelott
    3. Surnames: Collier, Higbee, Criswell, Byram Classification: Query I noticed a posting from RALLS3@peoplepc.com regarding the line of WILLIAM AND SUSAN HIGBEE COLLIER. My line follows that of their daughter, REBECCA FRANCES COLLIER (an older sister of Luther), b. l Mar1819 Nicholasville, KY; married DAVID B. LOWERN about 1835. Their daughter, LUCY ANN LOWERN b. ca 1836, married SAMUEL CRISWELL. Their two children were MARCUS (MARQUIS) CRISWELL and WILLIAM CRISWELL. MARCUS (Marquis) CRISWELL married ALICE CAROLINE BYRAM. These were my greatgrandparents who lived most of their lives in Grundy County, Trenton, MO. ALICE CAROLINE BYRAM CRISWELL'S father, LEWIS BYRAM, fought as a Confederate soldier in the Civil War. His enlistment records show him being born in KY ca. 1823. I have no ancestral records on him. I would so like to have more data/documentation on the family. The COLLIER information I have came to my grandmother through a letter sent by L.M. Crook, Trenton, MO on 16 Jan. 1961 addressed to Mary Bell Criswell 914 Hallibutron, Trenton, MO. The LEWIS BYRAM information came from MO State Archives. Can't wait to hear from you! Lela Aydelott in Oregon

Will be happy to share what I have; however, I haven't yet connected my Thomas Ralson to John Ralson. I know they are related somehow, be it brothers, father and son, or uncle and nephew. More on this later. But first I'd like to explore the relationship of your Richard Monroe Ralston and the possibility that he is the missing Richard Ralston, son of my Thomas Ralston. Do you have anymore info on Richard Monroe Ralston? Birth? Place of Birth? Children? You say you have a death certificate? My Thomas Ralston at 84 years of age is listed as living with his son Richard Ralston on the 1880 census Spickard, Franklin Twp, Grundy Co, MO. Ralston, Richard M 26 Patent Right Man Ind Ky N.Cal. ? Lanora F 23 Wife Housekeeper Ind Ind Ohio Frankie M 3 Son Mo Ind Ind J.or I. A. F 1 Daughter Kansas Ind Ind Thomas M 84 Father Blind Ky Va Penn (You can view the above census at familysearch.org.) Was your Richard Monroe Ralston born about 1854? I am hoping that he was. If so, then I think we definitely connect. My Thomas died about 1885. I think the wife Lanora died early on. The daughter may have died about 1898 and her brother Frankie may have been serving in the military at that time. From there on I have no info. On your Richard Monroe Ralston's death certificate did it list a mother? My Richard's mother probably was Rachel M. Stanley who first married a Bailey. I'm hoping against hope that we have a match here. Please respond to me directly in e-mail at cakemp@yahoo.com. Thanks, Cheryl Kemp
