Robert was born in Miles City, MT, on Feb. 17, 1917. He was the second child of Joseph Bennett Robberson and Etta Lola King. His father was a cla?... agent (according to his birth certificate, born in MS, which I believe meant Missouri, not Mississippi, according to his death cert., he was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma). His mother was also born, according to his birth certificate in MS, which I believe is Missouri, and according to his death certificate, St. Joseph, Missouri. Robert went on to live in Seattle, King County, Washington, where he died about January 1944. I am going to the library today to try to obtain his obituary through interlibrary loan. I hope to find more about my grandfather's family soon. In the meantime, I was told to check Greene County, MO, because of Robberson Township and the name Bennett Robberson. If anyone has any ideas, please help.
