Dear Wanda, I found a Rebecca F. Smith in Taylor Township Family #1485. She was 32 years old and born in TN and had the following children: Martha J. age 13 born in MO Mary E. age 11 born in MO Louisa E. age 9 born in MO Margarette A. age 7 born in MO Amanda K. age 5 born in MO Sarah L. age 2 born in MO Evidently her husband died before 1850, probably between 1847 and 1850 since the youngest daughter is two years old. Imagine six little girls. Do you think this is your family? Some of their neighbors are James Parton, John Eddings, Bailey Eddings, Dabney Hooper, Richard Price and several Sayers families.
