Probate of William White White Will of William White; Book A, Page 95; Dated 22 Jan 22 1858; Filed 5 Feb 1858; I, William White, in the presence of God Almighty do make this my last will and testament, Amen. 1st. I will that so much of my property negroes and land as may be necessary to pay all my debts be sold in order that the same may be paid by the proceed-- of such sale. Article--I Will that the remainder of my property be given to my wife, Margaret White during her lifetime or widowhood for the purpose of raising and educating my children. Article 3rd. I will that at the marriage of my wife, that my property be equally distributed between her and my children. 4th. I will that at the death of my wife that my property be equally distributed between all my children. 5th. I will that in the sale of my lands for the payment of my debts that the homestead be reserved for the purposes specified in second article of this my will-- 6th. I will that Eler Compton and Wiley B. Roper be the executors of this my my {sic} will being of sound mind and having full command of my faculties. I have made this my will and testament. W.
