    2. I'm going to throw a lot of information in the hopes that it will ring a bell with someone: John Henry Duncan b1874 in TN and moved to Greene Co. MO with brother Fred/Fread probably in the 1890s. Greene Co MO 1900 census shows John Henry (26 yrs)and Fred/Fread (19 yrs) living in Center Twp, District 17, with their mother, Mattie (55 yrs), a sister, Bessie (20 yrs) and a niece, Jessie Redfearn (7 or 9 yrs). The 1904 Greene Co MO Plat Map shows a J.H. Duncan at T29 R23 Sec.5, just east of Bois D'Arc. John Henry m Nettie McCallister, daughter of (Unknown) Reiff and William McCallister, between 1900-1904. Nettie was born in 1878. 1920 Census Greene Co MO, Center Twp, District 26 shows the following: *Duncan, Mattie, Head, 76 yrs, Truck Farmer Bessie, dghtr, 43 yrs *Duncan John H., Head, 45 yrs, Farmer Nettie, Wife, 38 yrs Thelma, dghtr, 15 yrs Mattie, dghtr, 12 yrs Roscoe, son, 11 yrs Dan, son, 9 yrs Charles, son, 7 yrs Samuel, son 5 yrs Cyrus, son 3 yrs *Duncan, Fred, Head, 37 yrs, Farmer Relda, Wife, 33 yrs Arma/Anna?, dghtr, 24 yrs Ralph, son, 11 yrs Josephine, dghtr, 10 yrs Nelson, son, 7 yrs I can forward from here, but am anxious to go backwards! According to family legend, John Henry Duncan was a Justice of the Peace and a school board member a some point in time.
