Hi! I'd like to suggest an easier way of doing things which eliminates a GEDCOM. What I do is a genealogy report. You can pick how many generations you want. Just start with the oldest person (ex: gg grandfather) and then choose how many generations you want to show. Copy and paste it into Microsoft Word or Word Perfect and Save As and then send it as an attachment. Very easy to do. You also have the choice of showing your notes and sources. This will save you a lot of time and headaches. Good Luck. Beth
