Justice of the Peace bet. 1866-1874 p521 "History of Greene County" A Colored Jury. -- The first colored jury ever sworn and impaneled in Greene county was convened before Esq. Beiderlinden, of Springfield, in June 1870. The case was that of Mary Button vs. John Jones, and was a controversy for the possession of a house. >From the 1918 yearbook of Drury College, I found two persons that are probably related to this family. Beiderlinden, William A. Class of 1917 (now serving in the Field Artillery) Beiderlinden, Marie Sophmore Springfield, MO My connection is through John E. and Mattie Beiderlinden. Mattie was the sister of my g-grandmother, Ella May Evans Jones. I would like to make contact with any descendants of the Beiderlinden family to share/exchange information. Tom
