I am searching for information on George W. Philhour, born 1833 in Claremont Co., Ohio, married Amanda Martin Goodwin in Richland Co., Illinois in 1857, and died in White County, Illinois in 1913. The Illinois State Marriage Records have the name spelled Philhower, but the family uses Philhour. George would be my great great grandfather. Looking for siblings and ancestors. Thought the Richland Co. might be a link.
