I was wondering if the Wilkerson clan came from KY - maybe near Bourbon Co? Is there relationship to Eaton or Hicks surname? My ggggrandfather's name was Jesse Wilkerson Kennedy and he lived in Greene Co, MO in 1880 after first living in nearby Lawrence Co in 1870 census. I have always thought he might have a connection to Wilkerson. BTW he was born in Crawford Co, IL but his grandfather and grandmother were married in Bourbon Co, KY. Thanks, Riley
