I received a copy of an obituary from a lady in Greene County. She told me that this list might be able to help me. In the obituary for Fred Page Davenport May 1975 in states that the funeral arrangements were under the direction of Jewell E. Windle of Springfield. What I am needing to know was Jewell E. Windle just the director of a funeral home or the Funeral Home itself. If this was the name of the director then what funeral home did he work for. If it is the name of the funeral home is it still in business by that name or has it changed names. Any help that you can give me would be appreciated. I am not for sure if this Fred Davenport is the brother of my great-grandmother. I am trying to find any info that I can on him. Thanks for your time. Kay Jenkins
