    2. Hi: I have noticed there were a lot of Pates in the Greene Co area. Probably related somewhere, just need to find out where! My Roland's are from Hummelstown, PA. I have been surprised to see the name in Missouri. My husband's grandfather was illegitimate, and we only know the father's last name was Roland, other than that, no other info has ever been given. It all went to the grave. Susan

    2. I have a Margery Pate in my lineage married John Minter Holloway. I show Margery was born 1782 in Greene Co. TN and died 4/8/1883. John Minter bor 1782 NC and died in Pope Co. IL. Margery's father was Matthew. I know this is a long time before your Cyrena but it is a likely they are related since a number of the Holloway children ended up in the Strafford area of Greene Co. MO. Is your family descendants of Dana Valentine "Dan" Roland and Salina Holloway Roland. Salina was aunt to my grandfather George Reuben Holloway. Kathy Ross

    3. The Ozarks Genealogical Society sells cemetery transcriptions for a great deal of the county (whatever's been transcribed already); Walnut Grove Township is volume one......it's current up to the date of transcription, which if I recall correctly is about 1986. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ozarksgs/ is their main site; http://www.rootsweb.com/~ozarksgs/pubogs.htm is the publications specifically. --pig On 10/25/02 18:27, <WilliamCDF@aol.com> shared this thought: > Hi listers, > > Can anyone tell me if a transcription is available anywhere for the cemetery > in Walnut Grove? 3. There is a cemetery book with the transcriptions in it. I have seen it at the Springfield-Greene County Library Center in the genealogy section. Actually I just looked at the Greene County GenWeb site. There is a lookup volunteer for the Walnut Grove Township book which I would assume contains the city of Walnut Grove. You should try contacting her. --- WilliamCDF@aol.com wrote: > Hi listers, > > Can anyone tell me if a transcription is available > anywhere for the cemetery > in Walnut Grove?
