You will have to contact the county clerk or the archives (I am not for sure where those records are). U don't believe anything during that time period would be recorded in book form. You would get the information faster by contacting the county directly. You can go to their web site for more information. http://www.greenecountymo.org --- Csuejw@cs.com wrote: > Any one who can access a marriage lookup between > 1942 & 1965 HILL surname. > > HILL, John Ira had a few wives: unknown names and > only I knew was Wilma ___? > > Thanks in advance. > > > ==== MOGREENE Mailing List ==== > List admin: listpig@earthlink.net > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion > online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? She was the dau of Caleb Douglas Portwood and Mary Crossan Morrow Portwood of Lexington, Fayette Co KY. She had a brother Bradley Portwood who was a cabinet maker living in a boarding house in Kansas City Mo in the 1930 census. He served in France in WWI. After the 1930 Census and before 1939 Bradley Portwood disappeared and no trace of him has ever been found. I am looking for anything about the above people who were all buried in the Maple Grove Cemetery block that my gr. grandfather , Wm. W. White purchased bought in 1876 . It was this block of graves that my gr. grfather burried his son H.A. White. This is the Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield, MO. Louis and Katie's bodies were moved from Hazelwood Cemetery on 18 Oct. 1886 and laid to rest in the White plot.. Could there be a family relationship between these two families? Could they have just been extra good friends and neighbors? Any help would be so appreciated. Dottie in So. Cal.

I've searched for years, many hours and days for anything about this NEWLAND family. Frank C. NEWLAND b est 1867 married in Springfield, MO 4 Jul 1887 Cora Jane FIELDS b 1869 in OH. She was the dau of William Russell FIELDS who died in 1915 in Springfield, MO and Mary DELAWDER -FIELDS who died in 1910 in Springfield, MO. The 8 children of Frank and Cora Jane FIELDS were: Sylvia, Okey, Dolly, Mary, Dorothy, Olive, William Russell and Mildred NEWLAND. I haven't been able to find death records nor marriage records for any of the children. The children were probably born between 1888 and 1914. I've found many of the FIELDS relatives & their spouses in several Missouri counties, & in KS, OK & CA. But this family seems to have disappeared. On the 1880 census in Ash Grove, Greene co, MO I did find James NEWLAND 25 b 1855 IL-IN-IN farmer & wife Ella NEWLAND 21 OH-OH-OH. But I don't know if they were related Frank NEWLAND. Please contact me: Mary K. Ward, 1432 Yeardley Drive, Richmond, Virginia 23225; ph: 804-232-9338. Thanks!
Would someone please tell me if the state issues death records for people who died in 1876 AND 1905 in Greene Co., Mo., Springfield, specifically.? Thanks, Dottie in So. Cal.
