And their son William Ross Hutchison 1-17-1862 Ark married Margaret Tennessee Montgomery daughter of John Alexander Montgomery and his 1st wife Fidelia A. Woods. Would appreciate any information. November 21, 1946 Clarence Smith Poteet, 66, for 38 years an employee of the gas and electric plant here, died last night at 7:35 o'clock at the home of a sister; Mrs. Winnie Beckerdite, 2060 N. Robberson. He was born in Webster county and came to Springfield 40 years ago. His home was at 715 N. Broadway. Surviving are four sons; James, Owen and Ernest of Tulsa, and Edward, serving in the Army; a daughter, Mrs. Cora Cobb of Tulsa; three brothers, Everett and William of Elkland and Gus of Marshfield; two more sisters, Mrs. Sybil Highfill of Marshfield and Mrs. Tinnie Lusk of Visalia, Cal.; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning in the Thorpe church near Charity, Mo., with the Rev. Elmer Davison officiating. Burial will be in the Thorpe cemetery, under direction of Thieme and Son.
