Goodevening, I am trying to locate marriage information and family information on Francis Manning and Elizabeth Hennessy. Their marriage would have been prior to 1891, and I think that Elizabeth Hennessy died after giving birth to William Bartholomew Manning. In the 1900-1930 census, he is married to "Nellie" and has two children, neither of whom are W.B. Manning. Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Lori

Hello list :) I am researching the Manning family of Springfield, Campbell township. Francis X. Manning married Nellie in 1894 and had daughter Evelyn and Francis. I find them in the 1910, 1920 and 1930 census, in Springfield. I was wondering if it were possible that Francis X. Manning was previously married to Elizabeth Hennessy, in this county, and had a son by the name of William Bartholomew (W.B.) Manning. I am also looking for a H.X. Manning, but have no information on him other than he was listed as a nephew in the will of Miss Elizabeth C. Manning, dated 1887, which was written in St. Francis County, Arkansas. Also listed, is her niece, Elizabeth M. Hennessy in this same will. Many thanks! Lori

Dear List, Please forgive me if I have caused emails to bounce or other things to happen while my computer was in the shop since the first week in January.. I have been offline for almost a month due to many computer problems. Unfortunately all of my messages from Rootsweb were deleted. The shop I took the computer to and who found the problem had to re-format my machine. I lost my address book (as well as a lot of other material - sob, sob) so I cannot reply to people who are researching the above names. If anyone has been trying to reach me please try again and I will respond as quickly as I can. Dottie in So. Calif.
