    3. Hi, I am a new subscriber and am looking for more info and descendants of Nancy E. TAYLOR (b. abt. 1832) who marr. James Abner LLOYD abt. 1846 at Rockport, MO. It is said that Nancy died (1850-1927) in Greene County. I am direct descendant of Nancy's brother, Jesse M. TAYLOR. Nancy and Jesse were children of John D. TAYLOR (Nancy and Jess were born in Jackson Co., AL.) I have much on this line and am willing to exchange. I also have a picture of Jesse and his 2nd wife, Betsy JUSTICE TAYLOR that I have scanned and can send. After getting pictures of 2 of Betsy's sisters just this week, I am anxious to get pictures of the rest of their siblings, if possible. I would love to get a picture of Nancy and James LLOYD...     3. No information on Joseph, but another Diemer to possibly add to your list. Elliott Diemer (1870-1944) married Ida E. Marks (29 Apr 1875 - 11 Jan 1962). Ida Marks was a sister to my grandmother, Katie Jane (Marks) Spellman.

According to his death certificate and his military records he was born July 29, 1834 in Lawrence Co., TN. The census records of later years indicate that his father was born in Tennessee and that his mother was born in Georgia; however, there is also an indication that his mother was born in North Carolina and Tennesse. I believe that his she is listed in the 1860 Greene County Mo Census with Thomas Montgomery. She is listed as E. Montgomery. Peter married Catherine McBee in Polk Co., MO on November 5, 1857. Peter moved to Newton Co., MO in the mid 1860's where his family still lives today. The following family sheet is not verified but was constructed from information that seems to fit. If anyone can add to or correct anything, I would appreciate it. Use this information as a starting point unless you can verify with official documents. ========================================================== Thomas Montgomery, born 1790-1800, died about 1840 in Lawrence Co., Tn. sp. Diemer was born 1828 in Franklin Co, OH, the son of Jacob B. Diemer and Elizabeth Treece. He married Eliza J. Hunt in 1855 in Franklin Co. and died 1912 in Springfield, MO. He is buried in the Greenlawn Cemetery. I would like to know when he came to Missouri and the names of his children. He had a brother John who went to Iowa and then to Kansas, a brother Gabriel who remained in Franklin Co, OH, a sister Leah who married Hugh Grant, and a sister Barbara who married Joseph Hunter. There are possibly two more brothers, Elisha and Isaiah, and another sister Lucy. Any help appreciated.

    3. Ed , My Crabtree's came from Texas Co, Mo. I have a Catharine Levissey Crabtree married Lewis C. Bevins, Bivens, Bivins.... Have found all three on census and they have been all different. But we go by Bivins. Catharine later married a Newberry. Are these any of your people. On the Crabtree side is Hollands and Grants. Thanks for Response.
