Dottie I think I can help you. 1st. go to your family tree file put the cursor on the oldest ancestor you want from that line.their family page should be opened. 2nd go to VIEW- Kinship report when that kinship report opens. go to FILE click copy and export Individuals . you will have to name the file under the place for the file name is a black arrow click that to GEDCOM(*GEDCOM) that will create a gedcom for just those people in your kinship report. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bill & Dorothy Casler" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 29, 2001 5:45 PM Subject: [MOGreene] Need GEDcom help! > Hello List, > Does anyone on the list know how to send a GEDcom through FTM? You will probably need to create a separate family file in order to keep from sending info all all the people in your file. You can simply save your FTM file with another name and then delete the "extra" people from the new file. If there is other way to separate various groups, I'd be interested in knowing. Then to create a gedcom: In the "File" menu there is an option to "Export"; you will then select gedcom as your file type; it should pretty lead you through the rest of the procedure. ~Suz In a message dated 8/29/2001 5:54:05 PM Central Daylight Time, [email protected] writes: << Does anyone on the list know how to send a GEDcom through FTM? Hello List, Does anyone on the list know how to send a GEDcom through FTM? All of my material (which is probably a terrible mistake) is together in one FTM program. Each family relates to another but I would like to send a person just ONE of my direct lines, such as my White line only instead of sending every single thing I have on the computer. I would appreciate any help anyone can send to me about this. Thanks so much, Dottie I have only sent a GEDcom once several years ago and have totally forgot how to do it.

Riley, Thanks for the reply. I don't know a lot about my Wilkerson's except that they were in Greene co. in the very early 1800's and I just haven't a clue where they came from or where they went when they left Greene co. abt. 1870. I suspect they were in Baxter Co. Ar. or someplace close by. Verna
I was wondering if the Wilkerson clan came from KY - maybe near Bourbon Co? Is there relationship to Eaton or Hicks surname? My ggggrandfather's name was Jesse Wilkerson Kennedy and he lived in Greene Co, MO in 1880 after first living in nearby Lawrence Co in 1870 census. I have always thought he might have a connection to Wilkerson. BTW he was born in Crawford Co, IL but his grandfather and grandmother were married in Bourbon Co, KY. Thanks, Riley
Is there any specific details you want in the mean time? I prefer not to type in the entire thing. I can tell you that the date of death was March 11, 1955 in St. Louis and he was buried in Wausau, Wisconsin. He did die of a heart attack and it does mention he was a Greyhound bus driver but it did not mention whether he was actually driving a bus when the heart attack occurred. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, August 08, 2001 8:07 AM Subject: [MOGreene] look-up Obit for dead bus driver Springfield, MO 1955 > > > HELP!
