He married Rachel Gustin and filled out an intention form to become a U.S. citizen in Greene Co. Missouri in 1870. He had children: Louise Harriet Marchand, Charles Frances Marchand, Beatrice Marchand, Joshephine Marchand, and James Marchand. Most of these children ended up in Coal Co., Oklahoma. Any help would be appreciated.

My Great Grandparents and Great Uncle are buried in Eastlawn in Springfield--my Grandmother is buried in Greenlawn in California--I wasn't sure if Eastlawn was really Greenlawn--anyway, thanks for getting it straight. There is both. Eastlawn is located on Pythian Street and I believe is owned by the city of Springfield. Greenlawn cemetery is privately owned by Greenlawn Funeral Homes and is located on North National just north of the city limits across the street from Greenlawn Funeral Home North (there is a south location on Battlefield Road). It is owned by Greenlawn Funeral Homes. The number to the cemetery office is 417-833-1212. You can call them and get information on burials. They do have a lot of older burials so you may have some luck. There is Greenwood Cemetery located in Bolivar in Polk County. That is the nearest one I am aware of with that name. It is owned by the city of Bolivar. The phone number there is 417-326-4232. They also have a lot of older burials.

I knew a Charley, and walter Rubbison that lived in Springfield Greene County, MO. Charley was never married, and lived with with his Brother Walter, who was married to Margaret (Maggie) Keith. Maggie was my Great Aunt.

Graves was b. 1835 in Lewis County NY. He moved to IL as young man. Was living in Tonica IL when he enlisted in the Civil War with the 88 IL INF. Married Susan Ong September 1860 in LaSalle County IL. They had children Ned b 1870 and Mae (May) b 1874 - both born in Illinois. This family then moved to MO. In 1900 they were in Jefferson Township, Linn County census. In 1911 they were living in West Plains, Howell County. Believe that at some point they also lived in Sheldon, Vernon County and Springfield, Greene County. David died during flu epidemic. He is reportedly buried in Greenlawn or Greenwood ?? Cemetery in an unknown MO county.
