I've been searching for the par'/sib's/ & orig' location in Prussia of the Buerger/Burger/Berger fam' who settled in Morrison, Richland Twp, Gasconade Co, MO. Michael (Michel), b. 1821 & Christina (b. abt 1827?) immigrated to US apx 1865 w/4 children. 1st discovered on 1870 Census (as Buerger), w/1 other dau, Anna at age 2 (mo's?), born in MO. father & 2 childr' (Emilie, b. 1859, & August, b. 1854) are bur' in Burger fam' cem', in Morrison (re' Gasconade Co, Cem' book), Oldest son Fred' Fritz & wife Ella (Ellen?) Bromley Berger, bur' in Berger fam' Cem', Saline Co, MO (my hus's maternal gr'parents ). ANY info most helpful & will happily share. Other related surnames are Burks/Wallace/Rader/Johnson/Dennis & many more. Jeannine Burks
