I E Mailed Janet about the Virus so they should have it so as to take care of it. Also the list owner should also get the message and do what ever they do till it is resolved. A person who sends one of these Virus's don't know they have it till someone tells them. It goes out itself from a message that hasn't be opened usualy without them even knowing about it. You have to get their E mail them delete the message and send them a message via e mail to tell them. Hi there - just to clarify a few things - rarely if ever do the virus come through the list - rootsweb has software that filters these out. What more likely happened is it was sent out through someone's address book, I believe the message was sent direct from Michael/Janet to people who had responded to their query. I think everyone has done the right thing - don't open any attachments unless you know who they are from and what they are - scan them with virus software first in any case. Notify the party that you had a virus from them. Any other question please respond direct to me rather than through the list.
