His maternal grandmother is their daughter Lola Aurelia. His maternal grandfather is Adolph Schnell, son of Tousaint Schnell and Mary Niehoff. The source of my information is my mother-in-law and 2 other Riek cousins, one descended from Constance, August Otto's brother. I don't know how the second fits in. I am hoping the 1880 census will help approximate birth dates for some of August & Anna's children. Linda
