Bob, Thanks so much, for this information. When I was in Missouri in June I went to the following county. Gasconade, Callaway, Franklin,Osage,Maries,Cole and went to the state archives in Jefferson City. I am just about to go to butting my head on this family. I did find them in 1880 in Jackson County, Arkansas, but then the next census was 1900 and neither one of them was in that one. Can not find when or where they died. I have found a lot on all of their children on down. I found Sina Branson on the 1850 census living with her brother, because both of her parents had died. I have not been able to find Robert White on any census before 1880. The census said he was born in Virginia, that his father was born in Ireland and his mother was born in Maryland. Thanks for listening to me. and any suggestion, I sure will follow it.
