Hi Patty, My John Allemann was born in 1834 in Switzerland. His birth name is Johannes Lucius Allemann. He married Dorothea Hermann who was born in 1834. My grandmother is Emma Moore who is the daughter of John R. Moore and Barbara Allemann. Barbara is the daughter of John or Johannes Allemann. Is any of this familar to you. I have had some discrepencies on the dates of John and Dorothea. I am going by the cemetery listings which I have found but they arent always correct. There was another Johannes Allemann in Hermann but he was married to Lucia which her maiden is unknown. I can send you a descendant report of my Allemann's if you would like.
