Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/nMB.2ACI/61.1 Message Board Post: Brandy, The only information I have in my Family Treemaker file is that Mary Wells (whom I have down as Mary E. Wells) was born in Kentucky on March 25, 1823 and died July 14, 1883 in Burbois Township, Gasconade Co, MO. Cause of death, dysentery, complications billious fever; duration of complications and desease, 2 weeks. She shows up in the 1850 and 1860 US Census in Wayne Co, Illinois and the 1855 and 1865 Illinois census in the same county. Sorry I don't have any more at this time; I'm still in the fairly beginning stages of gathering information on the family tree. A bit of my early stuff was not very well documented. Hope this is something that you don't have and can use. At least it points to somewhere in Kentucky. James Hardy married her around 1849 as you indicated, and he had been in Illinois at least since 1830 (according to the census). I would suspect that, consequently, Mary Wells must have been there as well during that time. You might do some searching around either Wayne or White counties in Illinois for the Wells family to see if there are any leads. Good luck to you. If I come across anything further, I'll give you a holler!!! Bob

Surnames: Lucas - McMillian Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/nMB.2ACI/91 Message Board Post: I am looking for any information on Mary Adeline McMillian who married a Lucas about 1850. They had at least two daughters, Martha J. born 1852 and Elizabeth born 1853. Apparently, something happened to this Unknown Lucas before 1860, because Mary and her two young daughters are living alone with Martha Mcmillian in Brush Creek Twp on the 1860 Census. I hope someone can help me fill in the missing link to the Lucas family. Elizabeth Lucas is my Great Grandmother and I have considerable information on her.

My brother-in-law was Richard Branson, he just died 2 weeks ago. He and my sister lived in Desoto, Mo.
Hi, Sorry to hear about your brother-in-law, my prayers go out to your family. Which line is Richard from? I am from Jerred Branson, through his son Andrew D. Branson and daughter Sina Perkins Branson was my gg grandmother. She married Robert C. White born 1825 in Va. Is this your line of Branson? Thanks, Edna Williams Burleson, Texas P.S. My Franks is my gg grandmother on my grandmother side. Nancy Franks married my gg grandfather T. A. Galloway. Does any of these names ring any bells? Sorry, no connections. My Berg family (Schamberger) was from Erlangen, Bavaria and settled in St. Louis County in about 1860.
