    3. Hi Carol, I signed up two of my sites for the Gasconade County webring and had no problems. I was already a member of yahoo so that might have made things go more smoothly for me. My two sites are http://www.geocities.com/alwysrunnin and contains my BURTCHER line and has ties to Gasconade County. My second site was just started so alittle bare at the moment but has my GRIFFEE line http://griffee.accessgenealogy.com/index.html I am new to this list and just want to say hi to everyone:) Theresa Cate Richardson --- Carol Southard <sweetcake@fastdial.net> wrote: > Sorry for the problems you are having.. when Yahoo > took over webring.org they changed things and > you need a yahoo ID in order to join the webrings. > If you have a yahoo ID you sign in and then you > go to the page to join the webring. September 06, 1919). William Reed was the son of Randolph Reed & Rhoda Hollingsworth of the Ashe County, North Carolina area and who moved to Gasconade County, Missouri. Barbara was the daughter of Albert John Kosark & Mary Ann Desars of Bohemia, Austria, Germany. Here is a list of their known children: 1. Albert William REED born: 1864 2. John Thomas REED born: 1866 3. Mary Frances REED born: 20 FEB 1867 4. Charles Gustave REED 17 JUN 1869 From census research Appears as if John Reed lived with his maternal grandparents in 1876. His father William Reed died in 1870 after the census which was taken on July 11,1870. I have no clue as to what happened to John Reed or his maternal grandparents after this 1876 census. 3. The Owensville newspaper is called the Gasconade County Republican. They have been around for a very long time so I am sure if you called their number in Owensville you could request it. I live out of state and no longer take the paper from there so I don't have the number but the area code changed last year to 573. I'm sure you can get a number at 573-555-1212 which should be directory assistance for there. Good Luck. The only draw back with them is that you need to the exact date of the person death, and county they died in. Good luck in your search... Fay Mesa searching......
