Margaret Schmitt, born March 1, 1828, died Dec 18, 1905, is buried in the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery at Washington, Missouri according to the reading in the St. John's Township cemetery book published by the Four Rivers Genealogy Society. There are no Clay, Dinsbacher, or Fosters buried there according to the listing. There were Binsbachers in Franklin County at the time but I noticed that none are buried there either. I have not heard the surname "Dinsbacher" and suspect it was a newspaper misspelling, which was far more common in that era than today. I actually have three obituaries for one young man, giving his name very different on each of the three obituaries! It had to be him. The date of death was the same on all as well as the account of him being in a tree on the rural school playground when the tree was struck by lightning. We think newspapers make a lot of mistakes today. They were really sloppy in that era. Of course, typesetting was a difficult task and errors were hard to correct once made. Good luck.
