Dear List Subscribers, First, I would like to apologize for not being more involved during the past six weeks or so. My son and his wife split up and he has been staying with us, along with his two young sons. Needless to say, this change in the size of our household has placed a lot of new demands on me. He has returned to his own house but I will still be watching his boys after school and doing other things to help him through this difficult divorce; however, my zeal for history/genealogy has not lessened and I will continue to devote as much time to my passion as I can spare! I am going to establish a place on the Franklin County Genealogical website http://www.rootsweb.com/~mofrankl/index.html for photographs of Franklin County veterans from all U.S. wars. If you have any photographs you feel would be appropriate for this site, please send them to me at scooley@worldnet.att.net It has not yet been established as I need some photographs to "seed" the site. Can you help? I am hoping to set up separate pages for each war as soon as I have enough photographs. Some additional biographical information about the veteran can be included if available. In addition, I am still in quest of rural school photos, memorabilia, and information, for posting. Thank you for your patience during my silence!
