This morning I received an email in reply to a message I sent out over the Crawford County mailing list in reply to people getting blank messages from the mailing list. I got a virus sent from <mbolive@mylink.net> in reply to my message with an attachment named "read.txt.pif". There was a message in italics that said OPEN THE ATTACHMENT. I also got another message in reply to an answer I gave about marriages I sent out over the Franklin County mailing list. I then got another message from the same address with a file attached with a file name like "sex.txt.pif" or something to that effect. I answered her directly and CC'd the mailing list. Apparently the list never sent the original address along with that. Sorry for any confusion. But is you get an attachment with two extensions, the second one is the virus. Check your recycle bin for any files that shouldn't be there. The virus usually has it's own PPP so you won't know it is sending. -- Joe L.
