Hello Marsha, Have you been able to determine just how Barbara Klingenschmidt connects with the early Pennsylvania Klingelsmiths/Clingingsmiths? B
Looking for any information on my great plus grandparents Thomas Walter Mattox, b. MD and Elizabeth A. Jones b. abt. 1828 in TN (according to the 1850, 1860 and 1870 Census) married abt. 1846. They lived in St. Louis/Lewis Township 1850 and 1860 Census. Shortly after the Civil War Thomas died and Elizabeth went to Crawford Co, Missouri to live with her son William Mattox. She shows up in his house in the 1870 Census with four of her children. By the 1880 Census she has married a William Adair. Thomas Jefferson Mattox and his wife Mary Louisa (Sutton) Mattox show up on the 1920 Census. Have been told by family that they some of their children and grandchilden lived at one time in Franklin Co. Any leads appreciated. Thanks.
