    1. [MOFRANKL-L] virus alert!
    2. I want to notify you of a virus alert I received on a file addressed to me through MOFRANKL-L. The alert was likely the result of an overzealous antivirus system. Though It might be a virus which the sender inadvertently picked up in which case the sender needs to know to eliminate it. The sender was sqfgen7@ruralcom.net (Edith V. Fisher). Please don't take this as an indictment. I am only trying to protect the sender and everyone, if there is a problem. Many groups don't allow attachments to be sent through their address. I am interested in what the sender was trying to say to me in an attachment. If you could send me the information in an open email letter, I would appreciate it. Please except any apologies that are necessary if the problem is only with my machine. I would rather fail this way than the opposite. Paul Owen

    3. Paul, I received the same email signed by an Edith but from a different email address. My husband is highly trained in computers and software. Our McAffe Virus protectiion or NETWORK ICE caught it when I opened the attachment so we killed it right away. He said it was a Trojan type virus with a "back door" that can allow someone to get into your computer and steal your info and is VERY SERIOUS. He also said most people would not know they have it. The email address was from someone (not a message board eamil) who I had sent an inquiry and was expecting an answer from, so was very deceptive!
