    3. I am glad to see the register up and running, however, I would like to know if anyone out there has any information on how to trace African Americans in Franklin County. Three generations of my family lived there and it would appear that they do not exist in any formal record. I have tried to obtain the appropriate certificates (birth/death/marriage) but have not had much luck. I am looking for Dyson's/Dison's (McCoy & Nancy) circa 1850's Margaret Dyson born July 1876 -- The Kaiser/Kiser side of my family lived in this area as well. John Kiser (Margarets husband) born 1874 died ca 1909: Harvey Kiser (John's father) born 1851 not sure of death.; Allen Kiser (Harvey's father) born 1827 not sure of death. Does any one have any idea of how one would research their African American roots in Franklin County? > -----Original Message----- > From: MOFRANKL-D-request@rootsweb.com > [mailto:MOFRANKL-D-request@rootsweb.com] > Sent: Monday, July 30, 2001 7:03 AM > To: MOFRANKL-D@rootsweb.com > Subject: MOFRANKL-D Digest V01 #80 > > << Message: Untitled Attachment >> << Message: [MOFRANKL-L] Re: > MOFRANKL-D Digest V01 #79 >> << Message: [MOFRANKL-L] Death Register > Update >> << Message: [MOFRANKL-L] virus alert! >> << Message: > [MOFRANKL-L] New address Doris Larson re BOYD/COLE families >>
