Dear Alan, One additional item - I found an August Fred Weber in the Naturalization Records. He became an American citizen on September 19, 1853 and gives his birthplace as "Hesse." His sponsors were Eberhard Huneke and Henry Tamm. For a complete copy with lots more information, ask the County Clerk of Franklin County for "CC E-159." Good luck.
