    3. Hi Ross... My oh my....you sure found a lot of my folks. I am still missing two ..a great aunt and my grandmother. MINNIE...born in former Pikes Peak community...married by Rev.Mantels, 11/6/90...she married Chris F. W. Niermeyer of this same community. They are both buried in the Mantels church cemetery along with their young son Walter. She was my great aunt. JOHANNA B....b. 11/8/67 d.1941 she was also born in the Pikes Peak community....and was my grandmother. She married Henry A. Zahrndt and they are buried in St. Peters Cemetery in Washington, Mo. Would there be any way to check on Henry A. Zahrndt my grandfather? All I have on him is he was born in the South Point area 1865 (?) and died in Union 1925. I have not been able to locate any thing about him or his family background. You mentioned being related to Holtgreve family. I had an Elmer Holtgreve ahead of me in school and believe he married Bernice Dewert (sister of Jeanette...a friend and classmate of mine). Could you be related to this family? Small world, eh? You also mentioned Kruels in Union area. I do believe the Wilbert Kruel family is there..he is a descendant of the Hermann Heinrich Kruel you wrote about....he had a younger brother Elmer who died recently. You just don't know how much I appreciate your looking up all this info....is there a charge for this, please let me know. If you do this in spare time you surely don't have time to do all your own work. I do thank you and the wonderful folks up there in Franklin County....you are to be commended on the great site and super service. Thanks again.
