Best check with one of the group's officers to see what their plans are regarding the book before contacting any company. I emailed the company this morning to ask their policy on copyrighted materials. I will respond to the list when I get their reply. I also did some checking on my own about copyright. I don't know if this book was published by the Dunklin Co. Historical society, but in the description of the book, the Historical society is not mentioned. Re: "History of Dunklin County, MO. 1845-1895" by Mary F. Smith-Davis. (1896) Also, there are different lengths of copyright, depending on when the work was created. My source says that anything created before 1923 is now in the Public Domain. I checked back at the Quintin Publications website and looked at the publications for Missouri. It appears that most of these had been published before that time and are not under copyright. Karen
