I do not have your family in my records. I would like to try and connect these families. The Bartons are from Tennessee: McMinn and Gibson-then they went to Hurricane, Greene Co., AR. My Bartons are connected to the Hobbs, Rennels?, Totherow (Detherow) and thats about as far as I can get. The Hobbs and Bartons lived around Dunklin, MO and Rector, AR. Because of the spelling it can be hard to find them. Marriages have been hard to find as well. Some of the Bartons went to Flint, Geneese, Michigan and lived out the rest of their lives, but a few did come back to the Bootheal area.
