He was born in TN 1871, married Bertie Tompkins about 1893, probably in MO. They had 1 Son, James W. Davis b. Jul 1894 in MO. Bertie died, possibly in childbirth and Arthur married Henrietta Tompkins in 1896. They are in the 1900 census in Dunklin Co MO. James W. is with them along with Homer?? b. Feb 1900.
