His wife Etta died there in 1928. He was probably born between 1875 and 1880. I'd like to know when and where he died and where he was buried. Also if he had any children. Thanks for any help. Back between 1969 and about 1982, Bobbie Hatton Richardson published a 6-volume series a good majority of the cemeteries in Dunklin Co. Liberty Cemetery is in Volume 2. She shows Etta's burial as being from the funeral home records - no stone found for her at the cemetery. There is no other Godby's buried there marked by a stone nor found in the funeral home records. This is not to say that Rowe wasn't buried there too next to her in an unmarked grave, but at least you might want to keep this in mind while you continue your research.
