His brother was T Crittenden that was also in Dunklin Co and Shelby died there of Dropsy. He was living with A J 's brother. I have the TN census for Shelby that lists him as a son. I will look it up later and send you all the kids ages etc. I have census data from TN that says otherwise? AJ Crittenden was born in TN but went to Graves County, KY with his folks before 1850. There were any number of Crittendens running around about that time- including a Shelby Crittenden who moved to Arkansas, close to the border of SEMO. Shelby was AJ's uncle. I'd like to see the census information you have on AJ because I have him documented on census records as William's son.
