James Asa Bird and Minerva Thornsberry. Matilda Jane Byrd was my Great Grandmother, she married James Parson and they had one daughter, Mary Parson, she lived most of her life with The Birds. Matilda married second to Carter Stewart and moved to Flint, Mi. In a Family book they have Peter Jeremiah Thornsberry buried in Stanfield Cemetery, Mo. his wife was Susannah Ellsworth.
