And someone has already done a lot of work on some of our family. We are related to the Bollingers' and there is a book about them. John Jefferson Cook b 3 Jan 1852, d. 9 Apr 1899, buried in cem. at Scopus, MO(I've been there) ma. Jane Cook b. Feb 1855 at Marble Hill, MO d. 25 July 1928, buried in Kennett, MO, city cem(I've been there)(Her death cert. says she was buried, I think, Cardwell, Mo, but she wasn't). They were married 8 Jan 1874 in Clayton, MO. There children are Zenas Hezekiah b 1874, this is my grandfather, Kiser Cook, Asa Fred, John D., John J., Maradie Sally(Marie), Susan Catherine b.1885, Clolie(Allie), and Dora Ellen. If your father is John J. Cook, I have him married to Bertha Boyer. Now I can't remember who gave me that information, so the spelling could be wrong. I think John Jefferson and Jane Cook were probably cousins. No proof, except I was told that Great Aunt Marie was researching and found that out and it made her mad. They are going to come out with a new Bollinger book this spring that will have some of my information in it.
