    3. Dear List - Can someone please tell me if there was an 1860 trade journal showing the various Dunklin County professions? My gr grandfather, Charles W. WELLS, 28, a carriage maker, was shown on the 1860 Union District, Dunklin County, West Prairie P.O., MO census which was enumerated on June 15, 1860. He and his family lived in dwelling 44. No monetary value is listed for this dwelling and so I'm thinking that they were most likely renting it. The value of his personal estate was shown as $150. I am trying to discover approximately how long the family lived in Union District. After this census Charles seems to disappear and his wife, Sarah, shows up in IL around 1870. He might have enlisted to serve in the Civil War but I have not found him on any roster yet, nor have I been able to acquire a service record or pension record for him. Any help is greatly appreciated. Peggy Riggs Kopp
