Born Sunday, March 12, 1916, in White Oak, Mo., daughter of the late Alfred Burton and Lela Ann Dye Dye, she was a homemaker. On March 28, 1947, in Piggott, Ark., she married Hursel Lee Brown who preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Goodman and her husband, Jerry, of Jonesboro, Ark. and Nina Sells of Overland, Mo.; two sons, Hursel Dennis Brown and his wife, Virginia, of Frisbee, Mo., Frayo Nunnery and his wife, Kathy, of Mtn. Home, Ark.; a sister, Leon Ladd of Poplar Bluff and a brother, Paul Dye of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Mikie Brown and Jimmie Woodall; a daughter, Peggy Woodall; three brothers, Alfred, Gene and Edgar Dye and five sisters, Opal Rainey, Hazel Blue, Ethel Whaley, Edith Bradshaw and Betty Joe Lutes. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. today, Sunday, May 12, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Rev. Dick Murray officiating. Burial will be in the Lulu Cemetery near Senath, Mo.
