She died March 6, 1978 (headstone) at Malden, Dunklin County Missouri. She was buried beside her husband EARL LEDBETTER in Maple Cemetery, Pemiscot County Missouri. I am researching the WILLIAMS family and am trying to trace Bertha's ancestry........I believe her father was Clarence H Williams born about 1874 in Crawford County Indiana....Clarence's father was Jeptha Williams (mother Sarah Winscott)......Jeptha's father was (I think) James Williams and mother (I think) Roby Briggs. Any help with documentation on this line would really be appreciated. Thanks, Linda

Can you help? New email is nancy_huggins@charter.net sorry don't know how to change it on this site.
I am new to this list. Is there anyone out there who might have access to old newspapers or microfilm of newspapers and would be able & kind enough to do a lookup for a death announcement or obit for the following: Gustavus L. BAILEY died 5 Mar 1898 in Dunklin Co. MO and Frances V. BAILEY died 1 Feb 1894 in Dunklin Co. MO Both are said to be buried near Senath. Both may have been teachers. I appreciate any help I can get. Since deaths were not recorded at this time, I have not been able to document these deaths of my husbands great grandparents. Also if you have any suggestions for me, I would appreciate that, too. You can contact me off line if you prefer. Thanks so much for any input you might have, Linda Bailey rebailey53v8@wowway.com
